Who would have thought that even the newly launched devices will have issues and bugs straight out of the box?
Well, it becomes prevalent to have a few bugs when most OEMs are in a rush to launch new devices every month.
Realme, a smartphone and tech-lifestyle sensation, take no rest when it comes to device launches. The company regularly adds more devices to its portfolio.
This may excite a few fans but a rushed out launch may even lead to serious bugs and compromisations.
Realme 8 series is one of the recent additions by the company that runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out-of-the-box and features a heavily advertised 108MP camera sensor.
The Realme 8 is the lower-priced device out of the two but it’s hard to call it a budget device considering the build and specifications that it possesses.
However, early buyers of Realme 8 have stumbled upon a bug that makes the home quarantine and self-isolation even more difficult for a few.
A user took to the official forums to raise a complaint to which not just one but two (1, 2) forum representatives responded.
Acknowledging the issue, forum reps assured users that this issue has already been escalated and is expected to be resolved with a future OTA update.
Owing to the fact that the device is new, it has fair chances of being resolved at a very early date.
In case you belong to the affected group of users, here’s a temporary workaround other than uninstalling and re-installing that you could try and may even work.
Failing to load up even after trying these workarounds will imply that you”ll have to wait for the company to take up this issue with the OTT partner and wait for a fix.
Here’s a comprehensive list of all bugs and issues that came along with the Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update on your Realme device.
