Original story (published on April 3) follows:

Realme UI is the first of its kind following the switch from the popular ColorOS that is known to power OPPO and most Realme smartphones out of the box.

The company first released the stable version based on Android 10 OS to the Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT before making it available for owners of the Realme 5 Pro and Realme X.

Not long ago, folks using the Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro also started receiving their updates to the Android 10-based skin and going by the latest developments, next in line are the Realme 3 and Realme 3i.

We already knew about the availability of the Realme 3i and Realme 3 Realme UI update this month. Only that details of the exact release date remained obscure, at least until now.

Going forward, interested owners of the Realme 3 and Realme 3i can now submit their request to try the early-bird version of the Realme UI update on their units ahead of the official (stable) release, probably in a couple or so weeks’ time.

To get your Realme 3i or Realme 3 into the Realme UI beta program, follow the steps below:

Step 2: If all the information shared by you is correct and you are selected for the program, we will roll out the special version to you. Make sure you update your device to the given ROM version (A.27).

Step 3: Apply for the early access version in the Software Update interface by going to Settings > Software Update > Tap on the Settings icon in the top right corner > Trial version > Submit details and Apply now. Source

Realme insists you follow the above steps as stipulated otherwise, you won’t get your much-anticipated Realme 3i or Realme 3 Realme UI beta update. It’s also worth noting that the application deadline is tomorrow, April 4.
