Ranbir Kapoor is an Indian actor. Known for his work in Hindi-language films, he is one of the highest-paid actors in Hindi cinema and has featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2012. Kapoor is the recipient of several awards, including six Filmfare Awards.
Ranbir Kapoor prefers to stay away from the media glare. But every time he has spoken from his heart during interviews and promotions, the actor has spilled some interesting statements. From confessing that he has been a nicotine addict to cheating on his girlfriend and speaking about the troubled marriage of his parents.
According to the Times of India, Just a few films old, Ranbir had spoken at length about the troubles in Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s marriage. In 2011, the actor had told Mumbai Mirror, “Sometimes the fights would get really bad. I would be sitting on the steps, my head between my knees, till five or six in the morning, waiting for them to stop. My parents had a very troubled marriage for a long time, and I was caught in the middle because I was there. Mom tried to make sure it didn’t affect us. She did that by being open about it, which was good. But let’s just say I didn’t grow up with any rose-tinted illusions about love. I learned the hard way how complicated a relationship between a man and woman could be.”
Another controversy that he accepted was that yes, I have cheated, out of immaturity. For a long time, Ranbir Kapoor dodged the talks about cheating in a relationship, reportedly when he was with Deepika Padukone. Finally confessing the same, Ranbir had told a magazine that he had done so, ‘out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness.
After numerous romances, Ranbir has lost his heart to Alia Bhatt and they got married on April 14th.
