Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft’s popular multiplayer tactical FPS game, has been available since 2015. However, it maintains a solid player base even today.

But, in the last few weeks, Siege players have been facing various bugs and glitches that seriously affect their experience in the game. The reported problems include crashes, freezes, and more.

In addition to the above, it seems that the game servers are not working properly either. According to multiple reports, players are being suddenly expelled from matches (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12).

More specifically, Rainbow Six Siege player reports indicate that they are being kicked out due to ‘inactivity’, even while they are moving and playing on a round (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12).

Lately, many reports related to the issue have been emerging. The affected players are randomly kicked out of the game. And, this causes them to lose their ELO (an element used by the game for matchmaking).

Best believe when someone gets kicked from the game due to a bug and lose a 4v5 that elo will drop though. Cmon now. Source

After kicked out, they can’t return to the match and receive a ban

The issue described above leads to another. After players are kicked out the game, they reportedly can’t reconnect. So, they get an unfair ban for abandonment.

The bug has happened before, but lately it’s intensifying

It should be noted that this problem is not exactly new. There are reports that describe the same situation published weeks ago (1, 2, 3, 4). But, in the last few days, the situation seems to have intensified.

For now, there is no official acknowledgment from Ubisoft on this matter. Therefore, the affected players will have to wait a little longer to receive a fix.

03:46 pm (IST): Ubisoft support has confirmed that the team is aware and investigating the issue where players are kicked out of matches due to ‘inactivity’ even though they’re playing the game as usual.
