Ubisoft’s six-year-old Rainbow Six Siege is still one of the most played on Steam. Thanks to the huge player base, the tactical first-person shooting game is updated quite often.

However, the title has had several technical issues over the years, most of which are quickly fixed because of the competitive nature of the game. Nonetheless, some bugs and glitches do make their way past developers at times.

Elite Uniforms bug

Unsurprisingly, after a recent update, players are reporting a bunch of issues with the game, the first of it being a bug with the Elite uniforms. According to recent reports (1,2,3,4,5), players say whenever they change uniforms for elite skins, the game changes it randomly.

Moreover, the gadget skins do not seem to be showing up as well. This is really frustrating for those who bought the skins with real currency since they are unable to use them.

Fortunately, Ubisoft has acknowledged the issue and said they are investigating it. However, there is no ETA for the fix.

Mic or push to talk no longer turning on/off

The second issue affects one of the core elements of the gameplay, which is communication. R6 is a game where coordination is everything. Having said that, Rainbow Six Siege players are saying that they are unable to turn on/off the mic with the game sometimes turning voice chat on its own.

For some, the mic stays on when players use the push to talk button while for others they cannot turn it on at all. This is a really serious issue for those who play the game professionally.

It seems Ubisoft Support is already aware of Rainbow Six Siege mic and push to talk bugs. Again, there is no ETA for the fix.

Fortunately, there is a workaround that seems to be doing the trick. Some say pressing alt+tab fixes the issue until they toggle push to talk again.

Delay in sound

Last but not the least, many say that the sound is delayed and is weird after the latest update. When it comes to Rainbow Six Siege, audio is as important as aim. Many are frustrated since they are unable to accurately know the position of their enemies.

Some say that the directional audio is messed up while others say certain actions such as crouching as completely silent.

It seems Ubisoft Support has passed the information provided by a player to the concerned team. Once again, they did not share any ETA on a fix.

As always, we will keep an eye out on Rainbow Six Siege sound, mic, and elite uniform bugs and update this article once Ubisoft fixes them.
