Ubisoft is superb about the concept of semi-stealth; a tactic where the idea isn’t to have everything be quiet, but rather to go in loud, but in the wrong direction. This is one of the smartest tactics to employ in Rainbow Six Extraction and nobody does it as well as Alibi.

As her name suggests, Alibi is able to make a stagnant clone of herself that distracts enemies for a preposterous amount of time. As opponents open fire against the hologram, she can sneak by unnoticed or take out the distracted enemies. To pull it off, Rainbow Six Extraction gamers will want to have the best loadout possible.

Primary Weapon - ACS12

  • Holographic Sights Angled Grip

Most operators have generic weapons to use when it’s time to go in hot. After a few levels, though, Alibi is treated to the ACS12, an automatic shotgun, that is one of the spicier options. Compared to the rest of the selections, it’s one of the best weapons in the game.

As usual, don’t actually use this as a primary weapon. This is a gun designed for when things go south. On some objectives, stealth is impossible, so it’ll be sure to come in useful. As an emergency option, Alibi will be secure with this at her side.

Secondary Weapon - Keratos .357

  • Suppressor

Many operators start out with their best guns but Alibi has to unlock hers first. She should be an operator that gets a priority for upgrades because her starting secondary weapon, the Bailiff 410, is a low-damage gun and cannot be silenced.

The exciting news is that, much like her primary weapon, Alibi gets a unique choice for a secondary weapon. The Keratos .357 is also a revolver, but it has higher damage and can be silenced. This will become a weapon of choice as it can kill an enemy with a single bullet to a weak spot from across the map.

Explosive Tech - Fragmentation Grenade

The Fragmentation Grenade gets a bad reputation in the community and it deserves it. Four seconds is way too long to reasonably charge up in combat. Doing so in the heat of battle means taking damage that must be healed in between fights and enemies can get out of the way in plenty of time.

Alibi, however, gets around all of these problems by having enemies stack up on top of her hologram. These opponents can all be wiped out by a single Fragmentation Grenade from Alibi, giving her top-tier potential at wiping out tough rooms.

Gear - Revive Kit

Of course, nobody is immune, not even Alibi, and when the cloned image isn’t available, Alibi is at risk of getting dinged up. In a particularly difficult area, she might get brought down. For these emergency moments, it’s wise to carry around a Revive Kit.

This is far more than a selfish use of resources. Downed characters can rack up kills for free before getting attacked and needing to pull themselves up. It also doesn’t force teammates into a dangerous zone for a rescue operation as Alibi can revive herself and retreat.

Rainbow Six Extraction was released on January 20th, 2022, and is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
