Sonu Sood is known for his help during the lockdown period. But now again he has come into lame light, it has been reported that his car was impounded by the police while polling underway for the Punjab assembly elections on Sunday. Sonu’s sister Malvika Sood is also an election candidate from the Congress party in Moga

According to the report, the Moga District PRO Prabdhdeep Singh told, “Sonu Sood was trying to enter a polling booth. During this, his car was seized and he was sent home. Action will be taken against him if he steps out of his house.”

According to the ANI report Sonu Sood explained himself and said, “I feel proud that she took the plunge. She has been living there for the past couple of years and knows the issues that matter to people. I am glad she will be able to be in touch with people and help them directly. It is her journey, and I have nothing to do with politics. I will keep doing the work that I have been doing. I won’t be campaigning for her in the election because I want her to work hard and do her bit. As far as I am concerned, I will always stay away from politics or any political affiliations.”
