Priyanka Chopra featured in the Netflix special show, Jonas Brothers Family Toast where she comically roasted her husband Nick Jonas and his brothers.
She cheering her stardom made the hilarious comment on the Instagram followers of her husband and brothers. She said, “Have you noticed how much content the Jonas Brothers post online? They are forever on Instagram, always on the phone. It’s cute. I’ll tell you why. All of them combined have less followers than me. So I guess the most popular Jonas is @PriyankaChopra on Instagram.”
The controversial statement which was not conceived funny by whole of audience was when she said, “Nick and I have a 10-year age gap. There are many 90s pop culture references he doesn’t understand and I have to explain it to him. He showed me how to use Tik Tok for example. You know, and I showed him what a successful acting career looks like.”
‘Netflix is a joke’, the comedy account of Netflix shared pictures from the clip on their Instagram which hurted the sentiments of various fans and many questioned her claim to be a ‘successful actor’.
A fan criticizing Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Bold of her to assume.” Another commented, “Of all of them, she had to be the one who said this”. commented another. “Successful acting career? What, the Baywatch remake? I guess,” read another comment.
Many fans also jumped to the actress defense.
