The actress wrote a comment on her Instagram stories about how she faced adversity when she first entered the film industry, but that things have now evolved. The Citadel actress posted a still from the episode and expressed her gratitude to the creators.

In an Instagram story, Priyanka Chopra expressed her admiration for the Sharma sisters and expressed her delight that Bridgerton has desi representation. She stated that she adores the show and the Sharma sisters in her letter. In her comment, she stated, “It’s amazing to have desi representation on mainstream television, I must say. When I first started, it was such an outlier. The show and the Sharma sisters (sic) are fantastic.”
The Sharma sisters, Charithra Chandran as Edwina Sharma and Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma, were introduced in the second season.
Season 2 of Bridgerton begins with Anthony chasing Kate’s younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran). While Kate tries to break up the match, the two end up becoming unusual friends. Naturally, there is a lot of drama. Bridgerton Season 2 premiered on Netflix on March 25, 2022.
