Keeping the curfews and lockdown in mind the makers of Prithviraj, have decided to postpone its release. A statement released by producers Yash Raj Films, said, “YRF was waiting till the last minute to see if the situation in India and overseas improves but the pace with which coronavirus cases are accelerating, it forced their hand to hold on to the biggest title.”

Actor Akshay Kumar, who plays the formal role in the movie, had called the historic drama, a tribute to the warrior’s heroism and life. “The more I read about him, the more I was awed by how he lived and breathed every single second of his glorious life for his country and his values,” he said
Miss World Manushi Chhillar is making her debut from this movie. Apart from Prithviraj, the release of Jersey and RRR have also been postponed.
A source also shared that Prithviraj will significantly aim in bringing people back to the theaters, and it cannot be released at a time when it will not fulfill this goal. The source also revealed that it doesn’t make business sense to compromise on a film that will make money at the box office.
