The Mumbai police have detained actor Poonam Pandey’s husband, Sam Bombay, for allegedly attacking his wife, who suffered injuries to her head, eyes, and face. The actress was taken to the hospital after filing the complaint, according to the police.
“Under sections of the Indian Penal Code, a charge has been filed against Sam Bombay (IPC). The actress has received major head, eye, and face injuries “According to ANI, the Mumbai police said.
Last year, Sam Bombay was arrested for beating her just days after their wedding. Poonam filed a domestic violence complaint against him while the two were on their honeymoon in Goa.
Poonam soon joined him after he was given bail, saying, “What marriage doesn’t have its ups and downs?”
Poonam and Sam, who had been living together for two years, married on September 1 at their Bandra home. “Here’s looking forward to seven lives with you,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo from their wedding.
Poonam intimated that she will drop her complaint against Sam in an interview with Spotboye. “I got beaten up extremely hard this time, it was a half-murder,” she told the portal. “I’m not sure how long I was in the hospital.”
