Pokemon Unite is the latest title in the world of mobile multiplayer online battle arena games. Unlike most MOBA titles that are super competitive and have no time limit on how long a match might last, Pokemon Unite is casual and lasts a fixed amount of time.

Developed by the TiMi Studio Group and published by The Pokemon Company, the game was released on September 22 this year on Android as well as iOS. Moreover, the game replaces towers with multiple control points. It is also available on the Nintendo Switch.

The game works on a free-to-play model and has more than 30 million downloads on mobile devices. Since all games are time-limited, the team with the most points wins the game.

Having said that, Pokemon Unite players are now complaining that the game has an unfair matchmaking algorithm. Many Pokemon Unite players say that they team up with low-rank players while enemies have experienced players.

Some say that Pokemon Unite does this to lower the queue times, and they might not be wrong at all. Several MOBA mobile games do this so the players do not get frustrated due to abysmally long wait times.

While it is a good solution to improve the overall experience, this does result in unfair matches that frustrate a lot of players due to the huge gap between their skillset.

Players are also complaining that they get matched up with players from other servers, which is quite a letdown since they are forced to play at high ping.

As if the matchmaking issue wasn’t frustrating enough, players are also reporting a visual bug with the Sylveon icons. Many say that the game shows an increased number of Sylveon icons in some menus after purchasing Sylveon.

You can see the visual bug in action in the image below.

Fortunately, it looks like the developers are aware of the issue and suggested players restart the game to fix the issue.
