Developed and published by Niantic, Pokemon Go is one of the most popular Augmented Reality-based games. Launched in 2016, it has more than 700 Pokemons as of 2021.

Based on the freemium model, Pokemon Go generated over $1.21 billion last year and had more than 71 million active players worldwide.

But as is the case with the majority of recently released games, players often encounter technical bugs and issues such as many Pokemons missing shadows and Team GO Rocket balloons not appearing or spawning for some.

While Niantic seems to be working hard to fix these bugs, Pokemon Go players are facing a new issue with Lure and Incense where spawned Pokemon disappears quickly (1,2,3,4,5).

Many were confused and wondering if the issue with Lure and Incense was on their end but soon found out they weren’t the only ones affected by the problem.

Here are some reports from Pokemon Go players complaining about Lure and Incense spawned Pokemons disappearing quickly.

Thankfully, Niantic Support was quick to acknowledge the issue and said they are already working on a fix. They also shared a workaround that requires players to restart the game and set the device date and time to automatic.

If and when they fix the problem, we will be updating this space to let you know so make sure you stay tuned for more information.
