The Pokemon franchise has garnered a number of fans since the series launched over 25 years ago. Since then, there has been a lot of impressive art celebrating the franchise from fans. One such fan has created an amazing 3D Pokemon art piece, making a display for their collection of figures.
There are a lot of different types of art that have been made for Pokemon, including origami, custom figures, and handmade dolls. Fans have shown their creativity and love for the franchise, dedicating a lot of impressive pieces to the long-running series. Now one fan has gone into the realm of 3D printing, creating an impressive display area for all of their Pokemon figures.
A Redditor by the handle 3demonster posted a video of a display area that they created for their Pokemon figures. Using a 3D printer, the fan printed out a number of different colored tiles, which they used to create different habitats in their display. This includes snowy mountains, an area filled with lava, and a grassy field.
After showing how the display area was built, 3demonster then goes on to show themselves placing their Pokemon figures on the display. They fill up the area with a number of Generation One Pokemon, creating an impressive diorama showing off their awesome collection of pocket monsters. 3demonster even shows that they created perches for the three legendary bird Pokemon, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. When finished, the end product is a beautiful display that is a great homage to the first Pokemon games.
3demonster’s display has garnered a lot of positive attention. Many fans show their praise, with some even asking for the plans for their own 3D printers. There were even a few that stated they got Heroscape vibes, which they love. The display is definitely a great piece of art, and shows the ingenuity that many fans have when creating Pokemon based art.
3demonster is not the only one creating amazing 3D Pokemon art. One Pokemon fan by the name tapclay created a clay figure of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Water-type starter Quaxly. The piece captures the Pokemon perfectly, and includes small details like Quaxly’s chest fluff and the shape of its wings. All the colors are perfect, from Quaxly’s yellow beak to its blue feet. Both tapclay and 3demonster are showing what can be done in the 3D art medium as they both have created amazing pieces that shows their love for the legendary series.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release in 2022 for Nintendo Switch.
