Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 01, 2022) follows:

Pinterest is an image-sharing social media platform that is used for various purposes like discovering new places, recipes, trends and ideas.

The Pinterest widget was released on October 26, 2020 for iOS users as a way for them to customize their home screen.

It lets users continuously update their home screen aesthetic by allowing them to select and display their favorite content.

Pinterest widget not working on iOS devices

However, many Pinterest users are reporting an issue where the widget is not working for them on iOS devices (1,2,3,4,5,6).

This issue occurs when users try to edit the parameters of the widget on an iOS device. An error message pops up that says ‘No options were provided for this parameter’.

It appears that the problem is not limited to a specific version of iOS or a model of the iPhone series.

It’s worth noting that this problem first popped up about a month ago (1,2,3). But users were able to fix it by deleting Pinterest and the widget, restarting their phone and then installing the app again.

However, these steps do not seem to be working anymore for the affected users.

Unfortunately, the app’s developers have not acknowledged the issue yet. There aren’t any workarounds to resolve it either.

We recommend waiting for Pinterest to acknowledge it or even better, fix the issue entirely.

Until then, we will keep an eye out on the problem and update this space as and when we come across more information so make sure you stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
