Paramount Plus is CBS’s own streaming service. It features some of the greatest in-house on-demand and live content from some of the best producers for its introductory pricing of 4.99 USD.

However, PS5 owners are angry and upset with the developers.

Paramount Plus app on PS5

Paramount Plus users with PS5 are disappointed by the fact that their device hasn’t received the compatible app even 2 years after its release (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9).

Reports of people asking about the PS5 app started back in 2021 when the console had just been released.

Even now, not a single day goes by without users protesting about the app’s availability, and they have stood strong in their demand that it be made available on PS5.

What’s weirder is that the Paramount Plus website does support PS5 activation but doesn’t have the compatible app out yet.

When asked for the timeframe for releasing the PS5 app, support allegedly keeps saying that devs are still working on improving the app on many devices.

But it might be a blessing in disguise for PS5 users, as the Paramount+ app for PS4 is apparently clunky.

Potential workarounds
