Steam has issued this week’s update for its top-selling games, and there has been some massive upheaval in the top 10. For the past eight weeks, Valheim has dominated Steam’s top-sellers list. That impressive streak has now come to an end. This week’s list reveals that Valheim has fallen to fourth, dethroned by three new games. Claiming the top position this week is People can Fly’s co-op looter shooter Outriders, followed by It Takes Two and The Binding of Isaac: Repentance....

Though not technically cheating, players enjoying the Outriders demo quickly found a few ways to game the system shortly after its release. One of these techniques involved chest farming by replaying certain story moments over and over so players could grab the best Legendary loot in the game. Developer People Can Fly responded to the farming efforts by making some changes to drop rates and steering players towards farming in side quests, but the tricks will remain viable in the full launch of the game....

Double Fine is finally about to release Psychonauts 2. The game had a lengthy development process, having been originally announced in December 2015 at The Game Awards ceremony. Mesa developer Samuel Pitoiset has been hired by Valve to work on RADV support in preparation for the new AMD GFX11 GPUs, also known as RDNA 3, before their launch. RADV is the open-source Radeon Vulkan driver integrated into Mesa 22.2 and Linux 5.19. RADV is not an official AMD driver but continues to be more widely used than the company’s own AMDVLK driver.
