Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. is a Japanese multinational video game publisher headquartered in Tokyo that previously published successful video games such as Ace Combat, Dragon Ball Z, and Dark Souls has recently claimed to have suffered from a major cyber attack. The ransomware group called ALPHV (alternatively referred to as the BlackCat ransomware group) added Bandai Namco to its latest victim list. A group named vx-underground that monitors malware source codes tweeted on its account on July 11 attaching a screenshot of the ALPHV ransomware blog claiming the recent ransomware attack of Bandai Namco by the group, “ALPHV ransomware group (alternatively referred to as BlackCat ransomware group) claims to have ransomed Bandai Namco....
