OnePlus has finally announced its first affordable smartphone, OnePlus Nord, in India as well as Europe. The company will be making the phone available in the market soon this month. The company on its Instagram account released the first episode of its documentary New Beginnings where the company’s Founder and CEO Pete Lau revealed that the device is going to come under $500 that translates to Rs 37,700 according to Indian currency....

2020 has been an interesting year for OnePlus users. Not only have they been treated to the OnePlus 8T that feels like a downgrade to the OnePlus 8 Pro, but they’ve also been offered the first non-Snapdragon 8xx devices. OnePlus debuted its OnePlus Nord line of devices this year with the OnePlus Nord being the first installment of the same. The Oneplus Nord spots the Snapdragon 765G chip with ample RAM and storage to match this....

The last year launched Oppo Watch 3 series has been added up with a new WeChat edition to address the issue of contactless payment through the watch. The series earlier consisted of Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. There haven’t been many changes in the watch, and it appears that the Oppo Watch 3 Pro has been simply updated with the NFC Chip. A job opening for a Head of Mobile at PlayStation Studios in San Mateo, California, pretty much confirms Sony’s plans to adapts its biggest game franchises for mobile platforms. This isn’t exactly odd, anyway. Even the notoriously conservative Nintendo has dipped into mobile for a few years now, starting with Super Mario Run in 2016, Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in 2017, Dragalia Lost in 2018, Dr. Mario World and Mario Kart Tour in 2019, though its biggest success remains Pokémon Go, developed alongside Niantic and The Pokémon Company....

Following an earlier leak by the ESRB, Sony recently confirmed the imminent release of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game will be released on August 20th, featuring a brand new environment (the neighboring island of Iki), a whole new story, new characters, new armor for Jin as well as his horse, new mini-games, new techniques, new enemy types, and even new animals to pet....

The Poco M2 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (India) are nearly alike apart from a slightly tweaked design and of course their different brandings. The former was released a couple of months after its Xiaomi counterpart. Pokemon games have always been about catching them all, whether that meant that players got out of their way to actually get every single Pokemon available in each game or that they were fine with seeing most of them and actually catching those they preferred. Satyendar Jain, the Delhi Power Minister, met with members of power distribution firms (discoms) in Delhi on Saturday to address the “power crisis” in the national capital, claiming that the thermal power station from which Delhi obtains energy only had a one-day supply of coal. “There is a critical scarcity of coal in coal-fired power plants across the nation,” Jain told ANI following the meeting. There is just one day’s supply of coal remaining in the facilities that provide energy to Delhi....

Sony has revealed the free PS Plus games subscribers will have a chance to tackle in February, and it looks to be an eclectic month. When it was announced that Alan Wake Remastered would be coming later this year, fans were excited. There had been little word on the series from Remedy Entertainment barring Wake’s appearance in the studio’s most recent work Control, so an official announcement was cause for celebration. There isn’t a set release date for the game yet, although rumor has it Alan Wake Remastered releases in October, and this might mean big things for Remedy’s future projects....

Xiaomi announced the MIUI 12 update a couple of days ago and immediately started the beta testing program for select units in China. The company has also shed light on when to expect the stable version to begin rolling out. If things go well, the first batch, which includes devices in the Mi 10, Mi 9, Redmi K30, and Redmi K20 series, will receive the OTA in late June 2020....

When it comes to battle royale games, they don’t come much bigger than PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, AKA PUBG. With rumors going around that the developers might be starting work on PUBG 2, it’s likely that the high-octane online multiplayer will be the talk of the town for a good while. Probably more so now that the latest update is available. Version 11.2 of PUBG was announced recently by publisher PUBG Corporation and is available to download now on PC....
