New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on December 22, 2020) follows:

OnePlus is one of the more communicative brands we have today, building a massive community of users and enthusiasts in the process.

Previous editions of the same saw OnePlus talk about issues such as custom Dark Mode, Gallery app installation/slow loading, Parallel apps and more in the November installment and Android 11 bugs in the October edition.

As expected, many of the questions and issues raised are related to the company’s new Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 and many of the issues users have been facing, many of which we have highlighted here.

Another issue that has been vastly brought to the attention of OnePlus has to do with the Snapchat app. We’ve talked about this issue here.

Essentially, some parts of the Snapchat UI overlap with the system UI, rendering function of the app in the said area inaccessible.

It is pretty reassuring for affected users of OnePlus devices to see the company actively addressing many of these issues afflicting them.

We can only hope that other OEMs borrow a leaf from OnePlus moving forward. For now, affected users might want to rest easy, knowing their problems are with OnePlus.
