Overwatch 2 has created quite a buzz ever since its inception because of its free-to-play, team-based action gameplay feature.
It also announced a new Halloween event introducing new skins for players from October 25 to November 9, 2022.
However, soon after its release, many players expressed their disappointment in the skins’ pricing. Now, it is believed that the Halloween event is causing the golden guns to disappear.
Many players (1,2,3,4,5,6) have been reporting an issue where the Overwatch 2 golden gun for Junker Queen, Sojourn, Kiriko, and Ashe is missing.
It seems that some players have been unable to find their golden weapon (especially guns) after the October 25 update.
Apparently, these guns have been locked and can only be reclaimed after spending 3,000 competitive points.
This is quite disappointing for many as it’s very difficult to unlock golden weapons. Even those who have had it previously are required to buy it again.
Unfortunately, we haven’t come across any workaround that can help fix the issue temporarily.
We hope that the team acknowledges the issue where Overwatch 2 Junker Queen and Sojourn golden gun is missing.
As always, we will be keeping an eye out on the issue and update this article once we come across more information so stay tuned.
