As per sources, we came to know that Orlando Bloom will join the cast of the Gran Turismo movie being produced by Sony Pictures and PlayStation. The movie is being directed by Neill Blomkamp from a script by Jason Hall and Zach Baylan. David Harbour and Archie Madekwe will both appear in the movie. Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, Doug Belgrad, and Dana Brunetti of PlayStation Production are producers. Kazunori Yamauchi, the developer of the game, and Hall are executive producers.
According to the sources, the movie, which is based on a true account, tells the story of a teenage Gran Turismo player who, because of his gaming prowess, won several Nissan competitions and realized his dream of becoming a real professional racing car driver. On August 11, 2023, Sony Pictures will open the movie in theaters.
