Origin and EA Desktop launchers are the two current Electronic Arts clients through which players can run their games on PC.
However, in the last few hours, multiple reports have emerged indicating serious problems with both launchers that do not allow any game to be launched.
More specifically, Origin and EA Desktop servers are down, and are throwing a ‘We’ve noticed your computer is currently offline’ error message to anyone who tries to run a game through them (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

All the reports coincide in the same situation. Players only get a message saying that they are offline when trying to launch a game through the Origin and EA Desktop launchers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).
The crash on the servers that support both Origin and EA Desktop is also reflected on the downdetector platform, showing the large number of related reports that have surfaced recently.
EA is already aware, no ETA for fix
EA is currently aware of the reported issues. The company is working on resolving the situation so that players can get back to enjoy their games again.
However, they also reveal that they still do not have an ETA for everything to return to normal. So, for now, players can only expect updates in the next few hours.

EA Help said the issue preventing users from launching games via EA Desktop and Origin is now fixed.
