Unlike any other time, this time unexpectedly Oppo has launched a new A series in India without any noise. A17 is the name of a model that has been chosen to launch in the market. Experts have been found saying that this is nothing but a successor of A16k in terms of features. Its price cap has also posed a challenge to them as Realme and Redmi are already offering the same features at similar prices.
Now let us discuss the features of this phone. The OPPO A17k sports a 6.56-inch display with HD+ resolution and a water drop notch. It offers a 60Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness. The power button houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The back panel of the smartphone sports a tablet-shaped flatter camera design where the module does not protrude. The device is IPX4 water-resistant.
The OPPO A17k packs an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. Internally, the OPPO A17k is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It packs 3GB RAM with 4GB Virtual RAM technology. There’s 64GB of onboard storage expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot, the smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit, and runs on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
The OPPO A17k is priced at Rs 10,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant only. It has been introduced in Gold and Navy Blue colors. The smartphone can be purchased from the brand’s website and online and offline stores across the country.
