OnePlus, despite its many bugs and reliability issues over the past few months, remains committed to offering its users a wholesome Android experience.
This is most evident in how frequently we see updates to the company’s devices from bug-fix updates, security patches and the popular Open Beta program that is meant to test out features before they’re built into the stable release builds.
The OnePlus 8T was the company’s first device to come with the new Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 out of the box. The device has received quite a number of updates in the months that it’s been available.
Today, OnePlus is pushing out yet another update, this time with bug-fixes as well as the updated March 2021 security patch to OnePlus 8T.
The March update to OnePlus 8T bears the following software version numbers for the various regions that it is being rolled out in.

It is really refreshing to see OnePlus continue to push out these timely updates to its devices. That shows that while the company might be down at the moment, it is not out.

We can only hope to see more timely updates to OnePlus devices, especially now that it is scrapping HydrogenOS in favor of Oppo’s ColorOS in China.
Update 1 (March 30)
IST 13:01 pm: OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro users are also getting updated to the March security level, an update that also brings with it a bunch of bug fixes as outlined in the following changelog.
