Citing information from tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE is likely to be priced around Rs 28,000. According to the report the smartphone will be launching in India in the first quarter of 2022 and will also be rolled out in the European markets.

The device has already received BIS certification, indicating that it would be released soon. The phone was spotted with model number IV2201 on the BIS website. Previously the upcoming handset was said to be code named OnePlus Ivan. The smartphone is said to include a triple card slot for SIM and microSD card. Note that the provision for the MicroSD card on the existing OnePlus Nord CE is missing so the inclusion of the triple card slot is an upgrade over the predecessor. However, the phone is said to be missing the alert slider, which is a disappointment.

Talking about the specification, the leakster claims that the OnePlus Nord 2 CE will operate on OxygenOS 12 based on top of Android 12. In addition to this, the handset is likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage options. The device is said to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that will have 90Hz refresh rate support. There will be Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the display as well as on the back panel and a punch hole cut out for the selfie camera. The frames on the sides will be of plastic.

On the back of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE phone, there will be a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary OmniVision sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP camera on the front. It has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging.
