It has now been confirmed that the OnePlus 9 series will be pre-installed with the ColorOS skin out of the box for variants sold in China.
OnePlus has also hinted at providing ColorOS builds for existing devices sold in China and in fact, the company already made one such build for the OnePlus 8.
Whether the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will also bag a similar ColorOS build in the coming days remains to be seen.
But what we can confirm is that the update to OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 operating system is finally live for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro on the global scene.
The rollout begins shortly after the release of HydrogenOS 11 based on Android 11 for the devices back at home, perhaps the last such update the devices will receive.
There’s still no word on when the rollout will begin for the standard OnePlus 7 family, but with the OxygenOS 11 now available for the 7T and 7T Pro models, it shouldn’t be long.
Below is the full changelog as shared by OnePlus in the official forums:
OnePlus notes that this is a staged rollout, meaning some OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro owners may have to wait a little longer before the OTA hits their units. Not even a VPN will get you a spot in the front row.
