New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 23, 2020) follows:

OnePlus has updated all but OnePlus 5 and 5T to the latest OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10 operating system, at least when only eligible devices are put into consideration. The most recent to get the update are OnePlus 6 and 6T.

The 5 and 5T updates to Android 10 will be the third major OS for the duo, becoming the second pair in the company’s short history to do so. The first were the 3 and 3T, which debuted on Marshmallow and are currently on Pie.

On the other hand, OnePlus 6 and 6T owners are hopeful that this trend doesn’t end with their predecessors so that they get to enjoy Android 11 as well. Until then, though, there should be plenty of Android 10-based updates heading their way.

Matter of fact, OnePlus 6 and 6T already picked up their first post-Android 10 update that arrived as OxygenOS 10.3.0. The update, as expected, bundled a new security patch and a bunch of bug fixes and improvements.

Today, the pair is receiving another similar update as OxygenOS 10.3.1, improving the security patch level from the previous November to December 2019. Yes, not the latest version available, but still acceptable considering the devices already received Android 10.

The file size is 80MB and besides bumping the security patch level, you also get a series of bug fixes that include the screen calibration issue affecting some units since updating to Android 10.

Below is the full changelog:

Lucky are those using the OnePlus 6T for they shall no longer have to wait for the OTA download notification to arrive. This is because we have the download link to grab the latest firmware and install it manually. We should get a similar link for OnePlus 6 soon too.
