On the 50th anniversary of the 1971 Indo-Pak war that resulted in the independence of Bangladesh, the creators of Pippa, starring Ishaan Khatter, announced the release date of their forthcoming war picture. On December 9, 2022, the film will be released in theatres.

According to reports, the film is an epic war drama about a family battling on the front lines. The filmmakers also published a couple of stills from the film as they announced the release date.

“Blood, sweat, and tears,” Ishaan captioned the photographs on Instagram. We’re in the middle of shooting, and it’s already been one of my most enjoyable filmmaking experiences to date. We’re working hard to bring you an honest, visceral, and true story of bravery and sacrifice, but also of comradeship and fraternity… and, lest I forget, the story of an army family navigating a war on the big screen. The date is December 9th, 2022. Make a note of it.”
